Daniel Semanas is a director and animator who’s developed projects for clients such as Lollapalooza, Absolut, Nike, Mercedes, Youtube, and Google. He’s also directed and animated IDs for Mtv Brazil. In 2012 he won his first international award at the Cannes Film Festival, and in 2013 he won the Best Newcomer Director Award at the São Paulo Short Film Festival. In 2018 he released his first graphic novel Roly Poly, making him the first Brazilian solo artist to be published by Fantagraphics.
