by Berta Vallo

London based illustrator, Berta Vallo, addresses in her work what she describes as the notion of identity formation and female sexuality in relation to consumerist culture. She learned traditional animation in the studio of Oscar-winning animator Ferenc Rófusz at the Art School of Buda. Since graduating with honours in 2017, Vallo has worked with clients such as the BBC, Vice UK, Financial Times, the British Army and Unilever, among others. Her work recently got featured in Taschen’s The Illustrator: 100 Best Around The World and her second solo exhibition is currently open in Budapest.
